WOW that’s a lot!! Wait till you see my total! (Hint: it’s not scary!)

You guys know I don’t overuse the word “Epic”. This haul was so amazing. In order to understand what I did, I want to show you two parts of my preparation.

Step 1. I bought a Groupon deal, $20 to spend in-store at The Body Shop for $10 (I bought three of these). Restriction: only one per visit. Must be spend before Dec 20, 2012. So I used each one on different visits.

Step 2. Get a Love Your Body Card for $10 that gives you 10% off in store and online.

Step 3. There was a “Buy 1 get 1 half off” sale during the Veteran’s Day weekend, but if you had a Love My Body Card, the sale upgraded to “Buy 1 get 1 free” (up to three items free).

WOW. Epic, huh guys? I could have done slightly better if I’d noticed the “$15 off of $50 Purchase” offer on my receipts before and if I had planned my purchase order better. But I still feel like I robbed The Body Shop this weekend. Thank you, The Body Shop for having such a sweet deal that really cheered up an ol’ gal on a fixed income with an obsession with skincare.

Because I got so much stuff it’ll take me a while to get through it all, if there’s something you want to know more about let me know in the comments and chances are good that I’ll review it.

I LOVE The Body Shop, I just made a purchase from them last week too but I haven’t post it on my blog yet. I would love to hear what you think of the “Vitamin C Facial Moisturizer” once you get a chance to play with it because I’m debating if I want to try it out since I’m very happy with their other Vitamin C line so far :]

    Tiffany Martin Reply:

I’m trying it out now, so far the smell is all I can be 100% sure I like (; But when I get to try it for a while I’ll def post a review ^_^

I’ll look forward to reading your post too when you get it up ^_^ that’ll be cool to compare notes!

  3. Megan Says:

Have you tried the strawberry body scrub yet? I totally want to try it but I would love to know how nice it is.

    Tiffany Martin Reply:

Yes I have! I really like it, one of my favorites! What is your skin like? Sensitive, acne prone, dry, etc? I find that makes a difference with products that have salicylic acid like the strawberry scrub.

  4. Megan Says:

Usually it’s dry and sensitive. Do you think it will help?

I broke down and bought it so I guess I’ll find out either way lol!!

Also, holy crap, their strawberry home fragrance oil is the best smelling thing I have ever had the pleasure to sniff.

    Tiffany Martin Reply:

The product has almost NOTHING in the way of physical exfoliation (it has little seeds but I think they’re for show). The main exfoliator is salicylic acid which can be drying but this wash is also has glycerin to add moisture. I don’t think it will be too drying but if you feel like your skin is itchy or dry afterward I’d swap it every other day.

Let me know what you think, I’d love to learn how it works on sensitive skin (my skin is the opposite of sensitive)

I have never tried the home fragrance stuff, now I think I’ll have to put it on my list because I LOVE the strawberry smell (I have the body polish and the body mist).

    Megan Reply:

The home fragrance stuff is even better smelling believe it or not! At least I think so 🙂

I used the scrubs last night and it was pretty good. I feel a little dry now but that is likely the weather. It left me feeling nice and clean though, and I smelled darn good!

I’ve been thinking of trying their seaweed face exfoliating wash since I’m looking for a good one.

    Tiffany Martin Reply:

I took your advice on home fragrance and I picked up the cranberry diffuser. I love it! Smells so nice.

Do you use a moisturizer after showering? I always do or my skin feels so dry in the winter. Also makes me soft and smell great ^_^

If you try the seaweed let us know what you think! I only have the pore minimizer from that line >_>

I always want to post more, but I’m always fighting Lyme disease on that one. Most people as sick as me wouldn’t be crazy enough to try to blog haha (: I think this month will be a better one so I hope to post a lot! Naturally reviews will be hitting the site (:

    Thanks for saying hi!
